Site A - Tupperville Road over Miller Drain:

  • Supply and install directionally drilled conduit for Bell utility relocation (prior to construction)
  • Excavate footprint for new culvert (approximately 10m north of existing)
  • Prepare clear stone bedding layer foundation
  • Install new precast concrete box culvert
  • Install new precast concrete block retaining wall
  • Install reinforced concrete distribution slab
  • Backfill using granular and native material
  • Excavate and remove existing concrete structure
  • Reinstate road surface using hot mix asphalt

  • Site restoration and rip-rap erosion protection

    Site B - Tupperville Road over Pike Creek Drain:

  • Supply and install directionally drilled conduit for Bell utility relocation (prior to construction)
  • Excavate and remove existing concrete culvert
  • Prepare clear stone bedding layer foundation
  • Install new precast concrete box culvert
  • Install reinforced concrete distribution slab
  • Backfill using granular and native material
  • Reinstate road surface using hot mix asphalt
  • Site restoration and rip-rap erosion protection
