The Public Utilities Commission for the Municipality of Chatham-Kent is inviting proposals for Diesel Generator Services Roster List.
The Chatham-Kent Public Utilities Commission (CK PUC) is responsible for the operation and maintenance of a comprehensive municipal water and wastewater system serving the residents and businesses of Chatham-Kent. CK PUC’s infrastructure includes:
• 5 Water Treatment Facilities
• 7 Wastewater Treatment Facilities
• 2 Wastewater Treatment Lagoons
• 57 Sewage Pumping Stations
• 10 Water Towers
• 1,700 km of Watermains
• 590 km of Sewer Lines
To support the ongoing operation, maintenance, and emergency response needs of this extensive system, CK PUC is establishing a Roster of qualified Respondents to submit responses for the work described in the RFP documents. The purpose of this roster is to establish a list of Service Providers capable of providing various types of work at fixed time and materials prices.
The Roster will provide a pool of registered Respondents for various projects. When the need to have work performed is identified, the CK PUC will select Respondents for work in accordance with the process laid out in this document.
The Roster list established under this process shall be in place three (3) years and Respondents must be prepared to hold their prices for that term.
The maximum value of work for any project assigned to a Respondent under the Roster List is $100,000 as established by the Municipality’s Purchasing By-law. As a result, any companies who wish to be considered for projects including the types of work described in this RFP under $100,000 must submit responses.
