| Description: |
The Public Utilities Commission for the Municipality of Chatham-Kent is inviting proposals for the services of qualified accurate, timely and financially responsible consulting engineering services associated with completing a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment to review the North Chatham-Kent Water Treatment Plant. The basic objective for the Municipality to issue the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to encourage a competition among consulting engineering firms to carryout a Class EA. The assessment is required to investigate the capacity, and provide recommendations, of the existing North Chatham-Kent Water Treatment Plant to accommodate increasing water supply requirements for future greenhouse expansion, and supply water to the Moraviantown of the Thames First Nation and Bothwell communities. This would allow the Moravian of the Thames First Nation to decommision their existing groundwater well and treatment system. The Bothwell community is currently serviced from Tri-County Water Supply system through the connection from the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex. The CK PUC would appreciate a response from your firm in the form of a proposal identifying expression of interest, qualifications, relevant related experience, company methodology, corporate philosophy and cost to successfully complete works associated with this project. |
