The Public Utilities Commission for the Municipality of Chatham-Kent is inviting proposals for consulting engineering services related to the detailed design, tender phase assistance, contract administration and field inspection of a new Ridgetown Elevated Water Tower and associated watermains. The watermains are located on Gosnell Line, Mitton Line, Erie Street North and Scane Road (see Ridgetown Watermain Map). Decommissioning the existing Water Tower currently located at 24 Ebenezer Street West, Ridgetown ON. The existing water tower services Ridgetown/Highgate and was originally constructed in 1969. Construction of new water tower at a new location is required to continue servicing the Ridgetown/Highgate area it currently serves. Engineering services are required for The MCEA recommended to decommission the existing Ridgetown elevated water tank located on Ebenezer Street and construct a new 2.8ML capacity 48m height elevated water tank at the intersection of Ridge Line and Scane Road. The preferred tank would be a composite elevated storage tank similar to the majority of tanks in Chatham-Kent. |
