The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is inviting proposals for a qualified consultant to undertake a review of our Special Needs Resourcing to assist our child care operators in delivering seamless services to children under 13 years of age.
The Child Care and Early Years division of Chatham-Kent acts as the service system manager, providing inclusive childcare and early years programming within our jurisdiction.
Special needs resourcing (SNR) is to be used to support the inclusion of children with special needs in eligible licensed childcare settings (including licensed home child care), camps, and children’s recreation programs.
Currently our Chatham-Kent families are experiencing long wait times for inclusive child care services.
