The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is inviting proposals for the upgrade, maintenance and operation of the Municipality's existing P25 Phase 1 trunked radio infrastructure. This initiative aims to address critical needs, including the replacement of unsupported vehicular repeaters, enhancement of mobile radio coverage, and bolstering system redundancy and post-disaster resilience. By engaging with a capable radio infrastructure service partner, the Municipality seeks to ensure the operational continuity, governance, maintenance, operation and upgradeability of the radio system for at least the next 10-15 years. The RFP encompasses two key areas: Part A – System Infrastructure, and Part B – Subscriber Radio and Vehicular Repeater Equipment |
